Dust is abrasive, and typical cloth dusting is actually detrimental to your antiques. The applied friction from the cloth can also damage an antique's components.  Feather dusting does not control dust 100%, as it becomes airborne and is re-distributed back onto your objects.

 

My unique cleaning method is safe and gentle, and used routinely in museums and historic houses by trained professionals. This cleaning method is considered part of "preventative conservation" and helps preserve historic objects for posterity.
